What most sets Wildlife Windows apart from other companies offering similar services is our very extensive knowledge and understanding of wildlife and conservation. This has been acquired over the past 25-30 years as enthusiastic (or even obsessive!) naturalists, as well as in professional roles. We also have a wide circle of friends and contacts in wildlife conservation, with whom we can discuss particular species for additional expertise.

Our other particular specialism is in electronics circuit design. Unlike most standard CCTV installation companies, we regularly use equipment we have designed or modified specifically for wildlife watching applications, rather than be constrained by ‘off-the-shelf’ products that may be poorly suited to this niche.

Not only do we design and install wildlife watching equipment, but we have also used it in our very own wildlife events and consultancy projects. This experience gives us unique insights into how audio-video equipment can benefit nature-based projects and activities such as reserve visitor centre displays, environmental impact assessments, bat & badger watching, guided walks and pond dipping.

Finally, we have a number of other specialisms that are rare to find in a single company of this sort. These include rock and tree climbing qualifications, bat and bird handling licences and permits, knowledge of wildlife legislation, and publications in scientific journals and magazines.
