White Storks

The camera was installed on a robust branch near the nest, cables run 350m to the nearby farm and transmission devices installed.

The resident stork pair bred successfully and the whole process live streamed for the world to watch. The first live streamed white stork nest in the UK.

Not long after white storks began breeding at the Knepp Estate (Sussex) Wildlife Windows were asked to install a nest camera. Early attempts at achieving this on a nest on the castle itself were unsuccessful as birds decided not to use this nest properly.

In 2024 an opportunity arose to install a camera on a well-established and productive tree nest.
